Community Construction Inc. was founded in Houma, Louisiana by James Stewart Sr. in 1986. CCI entered the pipeline industry as an erosion control and revetment contractor. Through years of experience with pipeline exposure mitigation in streams and Right-of-Way revetment, opportunity presented itself and CCI emerged as a general contractor in the pipeline industry in the early 2000's. After economical changes following hurricane Katrina in 2006, CCI Headquarters was relocated to Hazlehurst, MS.
CCI current headquarter is located on 15 acres adjacent to I-55 featuring over 10,000 sq. ft. of office space and 15,000 sq. ft. of shop, fabrication, and warehouse space.
Following the passing of James Stewart in 2013, CCI was succeded by current owners President Jim Stewart and Vice President Hugh Louviere. Under new leadership, CCI has experienced exponential growth within our realm of expertise.
With our experienced staff of managers and field personnel, CCI has the expertise to successfully execute pipeline and erosion control projects both inside and outside the fence.
